Well the Taylormade SLDR woods have been out for a few weeks now and we have had great success with them. I actually think this product works very well for the golfer who has a slice. It is a bit like the old offset clubs which used to help slices or fades dramatically. The idea behind the SLDR range of products is lowering the spin on a players golf ball. Spin is -at times- a golfers worst nightmare. It can suck distance from ones shot and leave one scratching their head as they contemplate the next shot from the woods. By moving the weight further forward in this driver Taylormade have managed to minimise the spin BUT to get this airborne and flying people have had to go to more loft. Even Dustin Johnson is using 10.5* of loft and he gives it a good nudge!
